Program Description
This three-hour teacher workshop offers a step-by-step strategy for using hand puppetry to teach students to understand and visualize math story problems. Participants will learn to use simple ball and glove puppet pantomime skits to increase their ability to turn equations into story problems, transform story problems into equations, and be more likely to achieve accurate solutions.
