Program Description

The art of observational drawing can be used as a means to study the physical features of an animal, plant, or bug. Students will learn how observation is essential to drawing, just as a scientist observes closely to learn about the organism they are studying. They will apply these skills to learn about bug and plant life, and begin to understand how certain features provide advantage for survival, and how these internal and external structures are important for survival, growth, behavior and reproduction.
