Program Description
Everyone can be an artist using materials found in your own home! In this workshop, students will build colorful sculptures together using Beatriz's "torn paper" technique. In addition, students will learn how working together with the materials we have around us can impact sustainability, a brief history of the Latin American folkloric art of Papel Picado, and how to utilize cultural memory.
