Teaching Artist Review
A +
Deborah does a fantastic job with stories for large and small groups of children. She captures their attention with her voice inflections and humor. She really enjoys what she does (it is evident in her performance). She is a very gifted speaker. I highly recommend her for a convocation. -Deb Perry, Music Educator

Program Description
This program examines the civil rights movement through the eyes of a child. Sculpted to engage imaginations and build vocabularies while connecting the students with the human story behind the history, Asante's performances creatively explore history and culture.
